Goats in Trees

I think goats have just moved up on my favourite animals list.

Our travel up the west coast took us past kilometers of argan trees – a type of tree unique to Morocco, which produces argan nuts (similar to almonds), harvested for its oil for cooking and cosmetics.  Oddly, the local goats seemed to have taken a liking for the fruits – they don’t even wait for them to fall off, instead climbing up into the branches to gorge themselves.  Conveniently, they only like eating the outer flesh, spitting the nuts out to the ground for people to collect for harvesting.
